At ISBEP3 (International Symposium on Beamed Energy Propulsion III), which was held last Monday-Thursday, we were able to show off a quarter section of a lightcraft shell. It was the first one we made over the summer, and a nice paint job was put on it right before the symposium. Aside from being on display during the symposium, it also attracted some media attention -- on Monday, along with Professor Myrabo, we were on the CBS evening news. We will also be in Campus.News on Monday (or so we're told).

Our next general meeting will be Monday, October 18th, at 9PM in the Union room 2424 (the Patroon Room). After that the next meeting will be two weeks later, on November 1st, at 9PM, in Union 2424. New members are always welcome!

Also, our first meeting of the semester will be on Monday, August 30th, at 9PM in Room 2424 of the Union... new members are always welcome.

If you somehow missed the graphic above, we have the model rocket event with FYE on the 27th and 28th of August. We also will be at the activity fair on Thursday, September 2nd, in the Field House from 6-9PM, to talk about the club to anyone who might be interested in joining.
